Fabrich prints a client's own artwork, photography or pattern directly onto a premium wall covering base — seamed and scaled to fit a specific wall, at a finish quality most digital printers in India can't match.
The only part of our business where we're the producer
Everything else Fabrich sells is imported and curated from international manufacturers. Custom and digital wall covering printing is different — we calibrate, print and seam-plan every run ourselves, which is also why it's the most technically demanding and highest-margin part of the business.
How it works

Source artwork
We work with whatever the client or architect already has — a commissioned illustration, a high-resolution photograph, a scanned artwork, or a pattern designed specifically for the space.

Colour calibration
The artwork is calibrated against the printer's actual colour gamut and the substrate it will be printed on, so what's approved on screen matches what goes on the wall.

Seam planning
The wall is measured and the artwork is scaled and seamed to fit it exactly — not tiled from a standard roll width, which is where most lower-quality digital wall covering falls apart on installation.

Substrate selection
We choose a printable base matched to the space's durability requirement — a hospitality corridor and a residential feature wall don't need the same wear performance.

Print and install
The wall covering is printed, quality-checked against the approved proof, and installed by a team briefed on the specific seam plan for that wall.

What resolution does the source artwork need to be?
For a mural-scale wall, we generally need artwork at a minimum of 150 DPI at final print size, though this depends on viewing distance — a corridor wall viewed up close needs higher resolution than a double-height lobby wall viewed from across a room. We assess this case by case before quoting.
Can Fabrich print a client's own photography?
Yes — this is one of the most common briefs we receive. The photograph is colour-calibrated and, where needed, retouched for scale before printing.
How long does a custom digital wall covering order take?
Typically four to six weeks from approved proof to installed wall, depending on the size of the run and current production capacity. We confirm an exact timeline at quotation stage.
Is custom digital printing available on fabric as well as wall covering?
Yes, on a more limited range of substrates suited to upholstery and drapery use. Ask us for the current substrate options when you enquire.
